Sony Pictures CEO unveils 10 PlayStation Game Film and TV adaptations in progress

In a recent interview, Tony Vinciquerra, CEO of Sony Pictures, revealed that the studio is developing three films and seven TV series based on PlayStation franchises. In addition to HBO's Max The Last Of Us series, other titles include the rebooted Resident Evil, Netflix's Assassin's Creed and Oscar Isaac's Metal Gear Solid.
Neither does Sony intend to offer films both on streaming platforms and the big screen of the cinema at the same time. He relies on the principle of a short deployment to monetize the marketing between home entertainement and the big screen.
